C.U. (Close Up) LMB-5 Matte Box Shade for by TR Equipment

This C.U. Shade or also known as the Close Up Shade or Close Up Eyebrow, allows an actor to stand close to either side of the camera and clearly see the other actor being photographed, thus the actor being photographed can obtain the closest possible eye-line to the lens for the most effective close up.

The "C.U. Shade" can be attached to an Arri LMB-5 Matte Box (or others with the Arri style attachment points) and is used to shield the lens from sunlight and supplemental lighting from the above. It also proves to be an effective tool against side light when combined with two inch paper tape. Additionally the top surface angle of the "C.U. Shade" is lined up with the center angle of view of the lens it is shielding. This allows any measuring device mounted to the shade to easily calculate the line of sight distance. Made of black anodized aluminum.
