The "U" shaped latching mechanism in the steel housing is solid
steel and the actuator bar is hexagon to insure zero slippage.
Note the additional frame cross-bar above the latch.
Pictured Bottom: Magliner Senior Latch Assembly: The "U" shaped
latching mechanism in the steel housing is made of two pieces,
pinned together and the actuator bar is cylindrical.


Pictured Top: The Liberator release lever is made of solid extruded aluminum that
precisely fits the hex-actuator bar. The entire assembly attaches to the frame with
steel brackets.
Pictured Bottom: The Magliner release lever is made of folded and stamped
steel, riveted to the round actuator bar. The entire assembly attaches to
the
frame with black plastic and steel parts.
