CamBook gives you all the charts you need - neutral white balance, crossed grayscales, vector colors, backfocus star, multibursts and framing - in a compact and convenient folder. Use CamBook to check, adjust and white balance cameras before you shoot. Record grayscale and color information as on-scene references, to facilitate color correcting and matching footage in post..

Improve the contrast range of your images. The dynamic range of today's cameras and reproduction systems is over 10 times greater than that of a typical greyscale chart (50:1). Wide dynamic range grayscales on CamBook and CamAlign charts generate consistent signals more representative of those found in real-life.

Make shadows neutral, every time. Are your images blue and unattractive? It might be your grayscale. CamBook grayscale steps are spectrophotometrically neutral, so that you'll reproduce grays faithfully through the entire tonal range.

Match and "paint" cameras with new 709 colors. DSC uses the latest ITU-R BT.709/SMPTE 274M reference primaries in all its test products. CamBook also provides six mid-vector color positions, for adjusting colors between vectors. Adjust color controls to international standards, or develop your own unique, repeatable "look."

Shoot and project sharp images. CamBook features DSC's unique extended BackFocus pattern. This unique "bowtie" star is an ideal tool for checking/setting camera BackFocus. When captured on tape or film, DSC's BackFocus pattern also functions as a convenient "frame and focus" chart for HD.

CamBook ... or regular CamAligns? Like regular CamAligns, CamBook Charts are wide dynamic range and washable. While regular CamAligns are mounted on aircraft aluminum, light weight CamBook charts are plastic-mounted. Manufactured to slightly wider tolerances than regular CamAligns, production-oriented CamBook does not include individual calibrations.
