How Long will it take to receive my domestic order? 

UPS Ground delivers within 100 miles of our Burbank store on the next working day. It usually takes 2 working days to San Francisco, and 2-3 working days to the surrounding states. Mid-West takes 3-5 working days and the East coast can take up to 7 working days. Please note that UPS does not move cargo on Saturdays or Sundays. A 2nd Day Air package that ships on a Friday arrives on Tuesday.

We received far too many complaints about the U.S. Mail's delivery times and the lack of tracking features. In the long run we've found the advantages (less cost) is far out weighed by customer dissatisfaction, therefore, we are no longer offering U.S. mail options.

What is the cut-off time for orders that can be shipped on the same day as ordered?

For UPS Ground, it's 2pm Pacific Time, and 3-day, 2-day, and next day, the cut-off time is 2:30 PM, Pacific Time. Our driver comes promptly at 3:00 pm.

How long does it take to ship overseas?
 UPS takes 5-7 days (about $40.00 for small boxes). Please note that you are responsible for any and all import and customs duties, and if returned to us, also responsible for that freight cost too.

Is my personal information and credit card number safe over the Internet?

Yes, ShopYahoo (our e-commerce hosting service) is the largest and most successful shopping mall on the web. In fact, studies have shown that using your credit card over the Internet with a secure server is less vulnerable that going out to eat and using it at a restaurant. Your credit card information is scrambled and encrypted while transmitting over the Internet. We also keep all your personal information safe and secure within the filmtools organization. We will never sell your address or personal information to anyone. We may only use your e-mail or postal address for our own promotions or marketing efforts.

How do I place a domestic order?

Will I pay higher shipping charges?

No, we stock most items in our warehouse for immediate shipment and shipped  directly to you. Some of the larger expensive items are made to order and shipped within a few days. We always strive to get you your products in a timely manner at the most efficient cost.

What if there is a problem, or I want to return something?

Your complete satisfaction is our goal. You may return all items except light bulbs, film, video tape, books, aerosols, and cut fabric within 10 days with the original packaging for a full refund. However we cannot refund shipping costs. We are here to help, and if you need something exchanged for a different model or size or color, or need a refund, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do you offer discounts to Students or Professionals?

As you've noticed, most of our prices are lower than our competitor's. That's because we have just one everyday low price.

Does Filmtools have a minimum order requirement?

Yes, we recently implemented a  $15.00 minimum order, and we hope you'll understand the logic. We've determined that it takes a total of 12 minutes to complete an order, from pulling it from the shelves,  packing it, entering the data with the shipping companies, and sealing the boxes. After paying the one employee for their time, there was no money left to cover the cost of keeping the store open.  We had the option of raising our discounted prices across the board, or create the minimum order. We chose the latter.

Do you resale to other Dealers?

Filmtools does manufacture some of our products or is a "Master Distributor" for others. If you have a company that would like to sell some specific items, contact our customer service representative.
