The Filmtools Jr. bed measures 25" wide by 43" long (as with all of our Junior carts) and it's 18" x 10" nose is made of extruded aluminum- not cast. (It's also larger than the size normally issued on standard hand carts used in the motion-picture industry.) The truck includes a 30" Extension for converting the truck to a cart. It's extruded aluminum wheel brackets (not cast aluminum) carry a lifetime warranty- the best in the industry.
The Junior Competitor is fitted with two 24" shelves lined with carpeting. These shelves are attached on the cart, and can be removed at the time of conversion or using the cart for other purposes. The truck opens out into a cart, while the extra attachment located next to the nose is brought up. The cart can then accommodate the two shelves.

The answer is quite simple. We build a stronger, long lasting cart made of better materials and back it up with a Ten Year Warranty*. Magliner warrants their products for a year. We also offer a value added warranty to the Backstage Products used with our converted carts...another nine years*
*Filmtools guarantees the components from B&P Manufacturing and Backstage Equipment to be free of defects for ten years. All tires and inner tubes are the exception , which is thirty days. Customer's who want warranty work performed shall be responsible for any and all shipping costs after 30 days of original receipt of the equipment. (In other words, please inspect your product upon receipt and report any defects immediately.)
