This JC Camera Systems custom camera pedestal is perfect for camera assistants or anyone who wishes to mount a camera to a sturdy platform for maintenance or preparation. Mounting holes are provided to allow the pedestal to be bolted to a bench. A sliding base plate can be attached to the pedestal allowing the camera to be slid on and off. Works great for film cameras as there is space for the magazine to hang down below the mounting surface. Great way to test SteadiCam magazines at the service bench.
