From Kino Flo's web site: "The new MEGA SINGLE SYSTEM comes in two sizes, 8ft and 6ft. The high-output, flicker-free, dead-quite ballast operates one lamp remotely up to 75 feet away. The ballast can be switched in half f/stop increments for precise light control without shifting the color quality of the lamp. The removable center MEGA Mount system allows a fixture to be rigged directly on set walls or ceilings.

"In addition, the MEGA Mount fits both Single and Double MEGA fixtures. The Single fixture comes with a removable reflector and louvers. The lamps can even be operated outside the fixture housing for building into sets. For example, single bare lamps often show up as set dressing in nightclub scenes, or they are taped behind bar counters to illuminate talent and liquor bottles. The MEGA Single System takes Kino Flo True Match HO Lamps: KF29s (2900 Kelvin), KF32s (3200 Kelvin) and KF55 (5500 Kelvin)."
