Obtaining its name from the obvious similarity to its circus counterpart not just because of its look but also its function. The Trapeze is used to “fly” a lighting instrument chandelier or other practical light into a set usually from a grid or catwalk on the center ring via either rope chain or cable. The ring welded at each end of the Trapeze is for attaching positioning ropes.
