2" Shurtape P-665 Gaffer Tape. fka Permacel P-665

Shuretape is definitely causing some havoc in the Gaffer tape Industry. They bought the rights to Permacel P-665 from Permacel, then threw away the name and most of the products, and retained the manufacturing process but is distributing only three colors and two sizes on the West Coast. We agree: that sucks- but what are you going to do?

Now that we have discontinued the Permacel Line on our website, guess what just happened? You guessed it, they shipped us some GREY Permacel P-665 2" Gaffer Tape.

Filmtools is just as perplexed as you are. Getting a straight answer from their distribution channels is next to impossible. Believe me, we want to give you straight talk, but we are having a real difficult time with the supply chain. On behalf of Shurtape (the owners of Permacel P-665), Pro-Gaff (the company who spools the tape) and their distribution system, we apologize for the confusion.

With that being said, we may supply you with a 2" Shurtape P-665 substitute on occasion: 2" Permacel P-665.
