The SONY Factory in Japan producing audio and video tape has suspended production for an unknown length of time due to flood damage and power outages, and while other suppliers may see the sudden increase in demand for these tapes as an opportunity to raise prices, Filmtools in Burbank, CA will continue to sell them at their normal price.

Filmtools does not believe in price gouging, especially in a time of crisis, so this is a warning to our customers that our stock in SONY audio DAT and video tape could deplete very quickly. We will do our best to keep our website updated with accurate stock information but due to the nature of the situation, there may be instances when we cannot fulfill orders for these items once they have run out.
