Steadicam Junior Cart

The Filmtools Steadicam Cart is the best built cart of it's class. We start out with a heavy-duty Filmtools Frame which has five cross-bars (not three like Magliner) that are double riveted. Our 18" x 7.5" nose is made of extruded 6061 T6 aluminum (not cast aluminum like Magliner). Our 30" nose extension is double riveted with aircraft grade stainless steel rivets (700 pound load...not aluminum rivets like Magliner) and has square tube cross bars vs "U" channel.

Our extruded aluminum axle brackets have a lifetime warranty, vs cast brackets with a one-year warranty.

We use 4-ply 10" tube-type tires rated to 600 pounds vs. 2 ply tires rated at 500 pounds.

Filmtools uses Backstage Accessories exclusively. Their 8" wheel kit replaces the 5" casters. We also utilize their swing-away hand-grips which allows you to dock your Steadicam easily. The Docking pin is machined from stainless steel mounted on a "Bazooka", and the bumper protects the monitor and counter weights against scuffs and abrasions.

Each cart comes with an upper and lower shelf measuring 24" x 36" and the vest holder has been re-designed to accommodate both Steadicam and Glidecam vests.

Weight: Cart w/ wheel kit= 59 Lbs. Each shelf= 19 pounds, Bumper, Bazooka, handles, & vest holder= 14 pounds.

*Filmtools guarantees the components from B&P Manufacturing and Backstage Equipment to be free of defects for ten years. All tires and inner tubes are the exception , which is thirty days. Customer's who want warranty work performed shall be responsible for any and all shipping costs after 30 days of original receipt of the equipment. (In other words, please inspect your product upon receipt and report any defects immediately.)
