Super Mafer 486 - The Tube Clamp Camera Mount

The Super Mafer 486 Monitor and Camera Mount is made of the Matthews Super Mafer Clamp, The Manfrotto 486 Ball Mount, a 1/4-20 spud, and the Manfrotto Mounting Platform Adapter 3/8 to 5/8 Hex.

The new Matthews Super Mafer Clamp is strengthened to withstand greater clamping pressure than any other clamp of its kind. It can now be effective in even more uses. The productive pads in the jaws have been reformulated for better gripping action. Because of its superior strength, several new attachments have been added. The 5/8" baby pin receptacle accepts both the snap-in pins and standard baby pins. Baby snap-on pin is not included. The Jaws will accept a 2.5" tube or square surface, and clamp down onto 1" tubing or 1/4" flat plates. CAT# 540004 Weighs .75 pound.

The Bogen Manfrotto ProBall 486 is one of the most robust Ball Head heads made. The Camera Mounting surface rotates 360 degrees and tilts 180 degrees. It has a 3/8-16 threaded mounting hole, it's base is 2.25" in diameter. Height 4.25". This New style (replaces the Bogen ProBall 308) can accept cameras with either a 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 threaded hole!
