The Pinestone Gray ThinkTank Retrospective 30 Shoulder Bag is a discreet and simple bag designed for the photographer who carries a system such as one pro DSLR with a 70-200mm f/2.8 zoom attached to the camera. And, with its wider size, the camera and lens combo can be stored sideways within the bag. Or, it can hold two pro DSLRs in its two front expandable pockets and 2-4 lenses in the main compartment. The difference between the Retrospective 30 and the smaller 10 and 20 models of the same bag are the 30's two front expandable pockets. The internal dividers can be configured to accommodate the gear you need that day allowing you several customization options for each shoot.
Inside, there are two hook and loop nylon pockets that can hold a flash or similar sized item. Outside, under the main flap is another pocket that can hold an additional DSLR body or accessories.
The main flap is secured with hook and loop panels and all the zippers are durable YKK design. Think Tank's unique "Sound Silencers" - panels located under the main flap can be deployed to eliminate the "ripping" sound of the touch fasteners when you need to access the interior. This will come in handy when shooting in quiet venues like weddings, golf tournaments or any place you need to access your gear quickly without disrupting the event with noise.
Its two expandable pockets are large enough for two pro size DSLR bodies. The back of bag has a wide storage pocket that is made to hold collateral material like paperwork, maps or a note pad. Additional webbing loops are found outside to hold some small Modular, Skin or Multimedia pouches. Or, you can attach a carabiner to it for quick access items like keys. Two side pockets will hold small water bottles or even some small shoe-mount strobe lights
There's a clear interior pocket for quick access to your ID or business cards at networking events. An interior zippered organizer pocket can hold your filters, cleaning cloths and other small accessories. A second interior pockets offers even more storage for things like pens, maps and other paperwork.
Carrying the Retrospective 30 is easy with its adjustable canvas strap or removable top carry handle. The shoulder strap comes with a cushioned pad that can slide along the strap for optimum positioning. The strap is also supplied with patches of non-slip material to keep it stable while in use. For bad weather, the bag comes with a rain cover that covers the bag to keep your gear safe from the elements.
The ThinkTank Retrospective 30 Shoulder Bag has been designed to keep you fully equipped and unobtrusive while on the job or just out for a walk with the family. It has a classic design that is both attractive and extremely functional for all types of shooters.
