Aputure STORM CS32 Tunable Color LED Monolight

The Aputure STORM CS32 is the brightest fully tunable color fixture in the STORM point-source line, built around the BLAIR-CG light engine and rated at 105,300 lux at 9.8 ft with the medium reflector at 5600K - output in the range of a 4K HMI from a lamp head one technician can carry.

BLAIR-CG Light Engine

BLAIR-CG adds cyan and green emitters to the blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red array used in earlier BLAIR fixtures. Indigo supports natural fluorescence and extended red improves skin tone rendering, so saturated colors stay clean across the visible spectrum while white light stays natural.

Color Accuracy and Tuning

Fidelity ratings of SSI 93 at 3200K and SSI 92 at 5600K keep the CS32 usable as a key light alongside tungsten and daylight sources. The CCT range runs 1800 to 20,000K, green-magenta adjustment covers the full plus/minus 100 percent ASC MITC range, and HSIC+ with x,y coordinate entry reaches more than 90 percent of Rec. 2020.

Adapts to Available Power

On a standard 120V circuit the CS32 automatically limits itself to what that circuit can supply. Moving to a higher-capacity circuit unlocks roughly 25 percent more output, which is where the 4K HMI comparison comes from. No generator or dedicated distro is required to put the fixture to work.

Single-Person Handling

The lamp head measures 15.6 x 14.2 x 13 in and weighs 37.5 lb; the control box adds 23.8 lb in a 14.8 x 13.6 x 6.3 in package. One person can carry the head in one hand and the control box and cables in the other. The fixture is compatible with Aputure XT52 accessories.

This listing is the STORM CS32 without a case, in the US bare-leads configuration. The flight case kit, the standalone flight case, and the CS32 skid are each available separately.
