ARRI Enso Prime Core Set (F)

Designed with a compact, lightweight form factor capable of producing reliable images in most environments, the ARRI Enso Prime Core Set (F) outfits you with three ARRI LPL-mount lenses with lens markings in feet for versatile applications.

The ARRI Enso Prime Core Set (F) includes 47, 75, and 105mm focal lengths, which share a T2.1 aperture and 95mm front outside diameter for easy swapping without requiring extensive fiddling with your settings. A 1:4 magnification ratio allows the lenses to have extremely close minimum focus distances while retaining minimum focus breathing. These focal lengths are ideal for interviews, production, and conference applications.

Shared Lens Characteristics

The lenses in this set have balanced optical parameters for a sharp overall look. All lenses feature ARRI LDS-2 and Cooke/i electronic lens communication that provides metadata to your compatible camera. A 95mm front outside diameter on the three lenses allows you to utilize the same matte boxes and lens accessories across the set.

The lenses feature a 1:4 magnification ratio and a T.21 aperture to achieve both sharp close-ups and wide shots with a stunning bokeh, gentle focus fall-off, and minimal breathing. Minimum Focusing Distance

All the lenses in this set have a 1:4 magnification ratio for close focus distances. The 47mm lens has a 12.5" minimum focus distance, the 75mm lens has a 17" minimum focus distance, and the 105mm lens has a 23.5" minimum focus distance.

ARRI Ensō Vintage Elements Kit

Bring a vintage look to your Enso Prime lenses with this ARRI Ensō Vintage Elements Kit. The kit includes six rear filters—three positive and three negative elements—that achieve different intensities of bokeh effects. The positive elements offer a soft-edge bokeh to the background of your images and a swirl at the edges of your frame; the negative elements provide a donut-shaped bokeh and an overall sharper look. All the elements support electronic detection via encoded chips from the lens to ensure the element type is a part of the lens metadata, and they offer focus shift compensation.

External Lens Tuning

Each Vintage Element attaches magnetically to the back of the Ensō lenses for quick external lens tuning. Metadata concerning the focus scale shifts, T-stop, and focal length is communicated to on-set monitors and post-production. Automatic focus compensation can be achieved using the Hi-5 hand unit. Each element multiplies the focal length of your lens by a different percentage, changes the exposure stops, and opens the aperture to a different T-stop.

Positive Vintage Elements

The positive elements come in 100P, 200P, and 350P variations for different effect strengths. The positive elements produce smeary, soft bokeh in the background with a subtle swirl at the edges of your frame.

Negative Vintage Elements

The negative elements come in 100N, 200N, and 350N variations for different effect strengths. The negative elements produce out-of-focus highlights with diffused centers and bright outlines for a sharper, edgier feel.

Included Accessories

Included accessories with the kit range from a creative filter adapter with an installation tool, manual and hook-and-loop tags, a screwdriver with a bit, and a shim set to make for intuitive integration. The creative filter adapter lets users create their own elements for external lens tuning. Simply take the three retaining rings and set a piece of glass within the adapter to achieve your desired look. The entire kit fits inside the storage case for easy transportation to the set.
