<p>The <strong>Calibrite ColorChecker Video</strong> is the standard-format professional color and exposure reference target for video production. Designed specifically for the video filmmaker, the <strong>Calibrite ColorChecker Video</strong> features chip layouts and grayscale steps optimized for use with waveforms, vectorscopes, false color, and zebras - rather than the still photography profiling focus of the ColorChecker Classic.</p>
<h2>Target layout for video</h2>
<p>Grayscale calibration bars are positioned in the center of the chart for maximum exposure visibility. Four larger grayscale steps (white, 40 IRE / 18% gray, deep gray, high-gloss black) provide the reference points needed to align exposure using waveforms and false color. A six-step linear grayscale adds highlight and shadow region references. Saturated and desaturated chromatic chips are aligned with the vectorscope color axis for fast camera matching and white balance adjustment in live production. Skin tone patches assist with flesh tone accuracy across multiple camera sources.</p>
<h2>White balance and software</h2>
<p>The reverse is a large 8 &times; 11&quot; neutral white balance card for in-camera or post white balance correction. Supported in DaVinci Resolve and 3DLUT Creator. The same footprint as the ColorChecker Classic ensures compatibility with existing chart cases and stands.</p>
