The Canon Battery Grip BG-E16 for EOS 7D Mark II features an ergonomic design to improve handling and control while extending the battery life of the Canon EOS 7D Mark II whie in use. The battery grip accepts up to two LP-E6 lithium-ion battery packs and can also use six AA batteries or an ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit for continuous power.
The battery grip improves shooting when the camera is held vertically and increases comfort overall. The grip integrates several functions such as a second shutter release, main dial, multi-controller, AF point selection, AF/FE lock, AF starts and multi-function button.
