The Core SWX Articulating Gold Mount Battery Plate for Sony PXW-FX6 conveniently attaches to the camera's rear, offering support for a Gold mount battery while ensuring uninterrupted access to the camera's standard battery compartment. Power is supplied to the camera via the DC barrel output cable, and in the event of disconnection or battery depletion, the camera seamlessly switches to its internal battery source for uninterrupted operation.
With the camera's BP-U battery in place, hot swapping is supported. The camera's original power supply can also be plugged into the plate to enable hot swapping between AC and DC power. The Core SWX Articulating Gold Mount Battery Plate features one unregulated 11 to 17 VDC D-Tap output and one 5V USB output for powering accessories. Once the plate is mounted onto the camera, the battery plate position can be adjusted by tilting the hinge. The assembly closely matches the rear profile of the camera to allow it to efficiently fit in a camera case.
