The GoPro MISSION 1 PRO is GoPro's flagship compact cinema camera, built around a new 50MP 1" CMOS sensor and the ultra-efficient GP3 processor with a dedicated AI Neural Processing Unit - a platform that delivers category-leading resolution, frame rates, low-light performance, battery life, and thermal stability in a waterproof body that fits in a jacket pocket. Designed from the ground up for professional filmmakers and demanding creators, the GoPro MISSION 1 PRO brings cinema-grade imaging capability to mounts, rigs, and environments where no comparable camera has gone before.

50MP 1" sensor and GP3 processor

The 1" CMOS sensor features 1.6µm native pixels and 3.2µm fused pixels in Quad Bayer mode, capturing significantly more light than smaller-sensor action cameras for up to 14 stops of dynamic range at the sensor. The GP3 processor uses a 5nm architecture for power efficiency that enables category-leading battery life and thermal performance - the camera records for 5+ hours at 1080p30 or 3+ hours at 4K30 on the included Enduro 2 battery. An AI Neural Processing Unit handles next-generation video pixel processing and low-light image optimization in real time.

Resolution and frame rates

The MISSION 1 PRO records 8K 16:9 at up to 60 fps, 8K Open Gate (4:3) at up to 30 fps, 4K 16:9 at up to 240 fps, 1080p at up to 480 fps non-burst, and Burst Slo-Mo at 960 fps in 1080p for up to 10 seconds. All video records in H.265 at up to 240 Mbps with 8-bit or 10-bit color depth, GP-Log2, HLG HDR, and Timecode Sync for multi-camera workflows.

13 capture modes and HyperSmooth stabilization

Thirteen capture modes use machine learning and scene detection to optimize image quality for specific environments - from Dive Mode with underwater color science and tuned stabilization to Vlog Mode with face-aware framing and tone mapping. HyperSmooth stabilization with 360° Horizon Lock runs across all modes. The fixed 159° FOV lens covers a 15-27mm equivalent range at f/2.8 with a removable lens hood for glare and flare control.

Audio and connectivity

Four built-in microphones deliver stereo recording with wind noise reduction, 24-bit PCM, and 32-bit float audio to prevent clipping. Bluetooth 5.3 with HFP v1.9 Super Wideband supports wireless audio devices. Wi-Fi 6 enables wireless transfers over 40% faster than previous GoPro cameras. GPS, USB-C, GoPro Labs compatibility, and magnetic latch mounting round out the connectivity.
