If you've ever used one of the stock Israeli Arms that are issued by the rental houses, you've probably noticed that they are adequate. However they are prone to getting 'bumped'.
The Noga Holdit Israeli Arm MG6145CA eliminates the over stressing, but at a price...it weighs in at 1.75 pounds. It's also longer- the base arm measures 5.5" and the monitor arm is 4.5" long.
It comes standard with a Filmtools CNC milled and fluted hand-tightening' base- a Filmtools exclusive. (Click on the picture to see in detail)The monitor end has a 1/4-20" thread w/jam nut and the base has a 3/8-16" threaded spud.
Note: Although this arm can be adapted for mounting on a hot-shoe, we recommend against doing so.
