Details

The HIVE LIGHTING Bee Plasma Flood Light is an open face-style lighting solution that uses a single unique plasma lamp. The Bee employs an innovative reflector system that achieves a 100-degree flood beam angle that fits optional square, rectangular and octagonal softboxes, photo umbrellas, and a traditional glass Fresnel lens, making it a tool for both motion and still image production. The Bee LEP (Light Emitting Plasma) light source is capable of producing 2x output of LED sources, 4x the brightness of fluorescents and 5x the power of incandescent sources, all from a single point source bulb. Its relatively light weight of 10 lb makes transport easy and setup and breakdown a snap.
