The Hollyland HL-OLM01 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone captures sound from a 360º range around the capsule, so you can put the mic pretty much any which way on your talent, and your character will be intelligible, even if they’re not speaking directly into the mic. It has a self-noise of 10dB SPL, comparable to or better than a shotgun mic, especially considering that it has no wired connection to an external power source. It has a shorter cable which is effective in reducing interference for use with wireless transmitters with the Hollyland HL-OLM01 Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone.
