The cage provides protection from the rigors of production and offers multiple accessory mounting points, including 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist divots. NATO rails are built into the removable side pieces, and the top NATO rail can be removed to accommodate the Sony FX3 XLR top handle (not included). The top features a cold shoe with a safety pin to prevent accessories from falling out, while the bottom has a raised front to prevent camera twisting and an integrated Arca-Swiss plate for easy tripod mounting with an Arca-Swiss QR mechanism.
