The Elinchrom 49in Deep Umbrella - White provides photographers and videographers a soft, broad yet controllable light quality with a neitral to slightly warm color rendering. It is a large modifier with a deep profile, allowing you to vary contrast by adjusting the lamp forward and backward along the umbrella shaft to help with focusing the light output. The deeper than normal profile makes it easier to control the direction of the light.
The white interior renders a soft quality of light with noticeably low contrast and a neutral to slightly warm color rendering as compared to a silver umbrella. An optional translucent diffuser, which is sold separately, slips over the umbrella's open side so that you can use it as a softbox.
