Low dispersion glass combined with a high refractive index ensure improved sharp images with low aberrations, while little to no focus breathing allows for smooth and precise changes from a long distance to close-up. The Meike 12mm T2.2 Manual Focus Wide Angle Cinema Lens (MFT Mount) extremely wide f2.0 aperture shoots at a speed high enough to work in low light conditions while its style of bokeh gives a wonderful touch over the depth of field, making it a perfect choice for cinematic shooting. It has a low-distortion design, minimising barrel distortion and optimising performance. The multicoating reduces flares and ghosting, as well as reflective light, providing a great reproduction of colour and contrast.

With an all-metal housing, this manual focus lens also has a robust design. The minimum focus distance from the image plane is 8.7", so you can get very close to your subject and achieve close-up wide-angle shots with sharp focus. The lens is designed with focus and aperture markings on both sides of the lens in feet and inches.
