The Nikon ES-2 Film Digitizing Adapter Set is installed at the front of the lens, and the film holder is set to the minimum focusing distance of the lens to enable critical sharpness. Nikon ES-2 Film Digitizing Adapter Set includes a specified film holder for film strips and one for mounted slides. Both of the supplied holders help to take up some of the slack in a light tight film strip or mounted slide, and they also help in handling it. It’s not limited to use with Nikon cameras, though the ES-2 can be a time saver when paired with Nikon’s D850, as it features a dedicated Negative Digitizer mode that can automatically invert colours of your attributive in-camera to hurry the process along.
