The Nikon Z Teleconverter TC-2x provides a 2x magnification factor and maintains full communication between the lens and the camera body for functions such as metering, autofocus and Vibration Reduction, as well as the transmission of EXIF data. The optical construction incorporates one aspherical element, and is taken further by a Super Integrated Coating that is applied to suppress flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich imagery that maintains the same sharp and clear rendering as the original lens it contributes to. Additionally, the Nikon Z Teleconverter TC-2x has been designed to be dust- and water-resistant to complement its working rigors, as well as features fluorine coatings applied to its outer-most optic surfaces that repel water, oil and grease for easier cleaning.
