The NiSi Cinema 4x5.65'' Allure Mist White Filter (1 Stop)Â is used to add the effect of mist to an image. Contrast is reduced as the flared highlights in the frame soften and help to even out the tones in the highlights and shadows.
This filter is constructed from optical glass, is compatible with filter holders that can accommodate 4mm-thick rectangular filters, and has a grade of 1. Grades of 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 are also available. This filter type's effect becomes approximately twice as strong with each grade number increase.
