The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual 24TB 2-Bay Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array (2 x 12TB) operates in a hardware RAID 0 array, stripping the data across both drives to provide speeds up to 474 MB/s. However, you may re-configure the drives in RAID 1, SPAN or individual mode using the hardware RAID controller. Other features with the OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual 24TB 2-Bay Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array (2 x 12TB) include an aluminum enclosure with a quiet fan to cool both the drives and its internal components.
To keep up with the fast transfer speeds from the drives, the dual Thunderbolt 2 ports have a 20 Gb/s bi-directional channel for each port. The Mercury Elite Pro also has a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1/3.0) connection for greater compatibility with a wider range of systems. Moreover, Thunderbolt and USB-B to USB-A cables are included so you can start storing and editing right out of the box.
