The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual mini 8TB 2-Bay USB 3.1 Type-C RAID Array (2 x 4TB SSDs) includes two 4TB SSDs of Windows and Mac compatible SSDs, which can be combined to provide a total capacity of 8TB. The SSDs are pre-configured as a hardware RAID 0 array that will deliver increased performance when combined, but you can change the storage to operate in a RAID 1, SPAN, or independent mode. To keep pace with the faster speeds of the SSDs, the Mercury Elite Pro Dual mini makes use of USB 3.1 Gen 2 technology, which transmits data to a system at rates of up to 10 Gb/s. The OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual mini 8TB 2-Bay USB 3.1 Type-C RAID Array (2 x 4TB SSDs) technology has been outfitted with a USB Type-C connector design that will enable you to plug the Mercury Elite Pro Dual mini into a USB Type-C computer on the first try - the package includes a USB Type C cable. You can also use the likewise included USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable to link the Mercury Elite Pro Dual mini to a typical USB-enabled system.

The Mercury Elite Pro Dual mini sports a switch that lets you select from different RAID modes, letting you quickly choose the configuration that suits your needs. In RAID 0, experience fast data transfer speeds of up to 738 MB/s. Or select RAID 1 for data redundancy with mirrored disks.
