It boasts two 3.5" drive bays, each equipped with an adapter accommodating two Samsung 8TB 870 QVO 2.5" SSDs, delivering a generous total capacity of 32TB. This Oyen Digital 32TB Mobius 2C 2-Bay USB 3.2 Gen 2 RAID Array (4 x 8TB SSDs) is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, formatted in exFAT for versatility. Its impressive connectivity includes a 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, providing host connectivity at speeds of up to 900 MB/s. Additionally, it offers a secondary 10 Gb/s USB-C hub port with 15W power, allowing seamless connection or daisy-chaining of extra peripherals.
Built with a hardware RAID controller, the Mobius 2C comes configured as RAID 0, which stripes the drives together to optimize performance. It also supports RAID 1, which simultaneously writes data to both drives for 1:1 redundancy, JBOD, which lets each drive be independently utilized, and SPAN, which creates one large non-RAID merged drive. An integrated fan helps keep things cool and included is a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-C to USB-A cable, a power cord, and a key.
Note:
The main USB-C port is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4, although performance will be reflective of 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2. The hub port is only USB compatible and will not support Thunderbolt devices.
