The RED SCARLET-W 5K BRAIN w/ OLPF utilizes the RAW performance, dynamic range and advanced color science of the RED DRAGON sensor to deliver unparalleled video quality to professionals. Featuring interchangeable lens mounts and OLPFs and able to shoot motion and stills in 5K at up to 60 fps, the SCARLET-W represents high end video production and ultra-clear detail.  The high 13.8 megapixel resolution provides plenty of room to work with for special effects and color control. With the heightened light sensitivity and tonal gradients, the SCARLET-W allows you to precisely capture the image the way you want to. The RED SCARLET-W BRAIN gives you the flexibillity and versatility you need working in the industry. The interchangeable lens mount options mean you can change your perspective at any moment while the DSMC2 module adaptors allows for compatibility with your camera rig. As part of RED’s latest generation DSMC2 line, SCARLET-W also features numerous enhancements including simultaneous REDCODE RAW® and Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR/HD recording, integrated smart connectors for cable-free peripheral attachment, and faster read/write speeds for lower compression—all in a small and lightweight form factor. The camera is capable of shooting 5K at 60 frames per second (fps), 4K at 150 fps, or 2K at 300 fps with REDCODE RAW.
