The Saramonic Vmic Microphone for DSLR Cameras/Camcorders is compatible with DSLR cameras and camcorders. It is a condenser microphone that gives you professional, broadcast-quality audio. With the Vmic Microphone, you are able to adjust your level control (-10, 0, +20 dB) which gives you the option to capture audio in various environments. Additionally, the Vmic has a high-pass filter (150 Hz) and a high-frequency boost (+6 dB). The microphone connects to the audio input of your camera with a detachable 3.5mm cable. With your headphones, you can monitor the incoming audio through the stereo headphone output. The Vmic Microphone has a shock mount system that offers isolation from any mechanical noise or vibrations.
