A Super Multi-Layer Coating further improves contrast and color accuracy, even in backlit environments. Fast and nearly silent autofocus is achieved via a stepping motor—ideal for both still shooting and video. With a minimum focusing distance of just 4.8", macro-style close-ups are also possible.
