SKB R-Series 2727-13B Waterproof Utility Case (Empty)

The SKB R-Series 2727-13B Waterproof Utility Case (Empty) has been designed around military spec to endure the most challengeing enviroments of logisticial and field work. Lacking the foam or dividers that normally comes with SKB cases, the empty interior allows for ulimited possibilities in customization for the needed equipment. Padded Dividers, Cubed and/or Layered foam are available seperately for the SKB R-Series 2727-13B Waterproof Utility Case (Empty). The working interior dimensions are 27.25 x 27.25 x 13".

Design features include gasket sealing to an IP67-rating to make it dust and waterproof, a molded-in steel hinge for added protection and durability, four large and recessed hinged handles (two on each side), and six powder coated stainless steel low-profile butterfly latches that hold the lid secure with a tight seal. It is further resistant to a variety of hazards that you may encounter such as impacts, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, solvents, corrosion, and even fungi. A pressure relief valve comes into play especially during air transport by regulating the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop.
