The SmallRig Black Mamba Series Camera Cage Kit for Panasonic Lumix S5 II/S5 IIX encompasses a formfitting camera cage, a top handle featuring a 3/8"-16 anti-twist mount, and an HDMI/USB-C cable clamp. Engineered for secure attachment to the camera body, the cage offers a safeguarding framework and diverse accessory mounting options through 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, NATO rail, and shoe mount. The top handle introduces an additional shoe mount and a multitude of 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for further accessory integration.

The SmallRig Black Mamba Series Camera Cage Kit for Panasonic Lumix S5 II/S5 IIX three-point locking design prevents the camera from moving or twisting inside the cage. On-the-fly swaps from a tripod to a motorized gimbal or shoulder rig happen via the integrated Arca-type quick release plate, and you can also utilize the QD socket as well as 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom. The cable clamp mounts on the side of the cage to protect the camera cables so they don't pull or disconnect. The lightweight and durable aluminum cage is designed with ergonomics in mind, enabling shoots that last all day.

Expandability

The S5 II and S5 IIX reach their full potential when combined with an array of monitors, larger batteries, lens hoods, etc. This cage enables you to attach pounds and pounds of optional gear, far more than you would otherwise be able to use with your camera (available separately). These attach via the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threading, the NATO rail, and the shoe mount.

Kit Configuration

Carry the camera via the top handle and add accessories using its 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads and shoe mount. The HDMI/USB-C cable clamp mounts onto the side of the camera using captive screws to protect your cables from disconnecting.

Secure Connections

The Arca-type quick release plate holds your rig firmly in place when you need it but doesn't cause a delay when you need to swap camera supports. A three-point anti-twist locking method, including a built-in magnetic camera key, keeps your lens pointed straight downrange.
