The SmallRig 2948B Mini Ball-Head Mounting Support with Removable Cold Shoe (2-Pack) is a ball head and cold shoe assembly intended to clamp on your camera (or a cage for your camera) for heating a microphone, an LED light or a monitor. It becomes your cold shoe, and it clamps to the hot shoe of your camera, or at the cold shoe of your cage or handle, by using the bottom cold shoe side. Its 1/4″-20 screw goes to the top, to attach your microphone, light, etc (up to 3.3 lb). It can pan 360° and tilt -45 to +90° with the single pinch-lock control. The SmallRig 2948B Mini Ball-Head Mounting Support with Removable Cold Shoe (2-Pack) bottom cold shoe plate has two slots to securely lock it down with the supplied Allen wrench. There is a 1/4″-20 female thread on its bottom when the cold shoe adapter is removed.
