The SmallRig "Black Mamba" Camera Cage for Canon EOS R6 Mark II shape adapts snugly to the contours of the camera body and covers can be removed, but the Black Mamba's top and side grips won't get in the way of access to controls, battery or SD card. Meanwhile, it has multiple mounting options with the SmallRig "Black Mamba" Camera Cage for Canon EOS R6 Mark II.
The camera mounts onto the cage using a 1/4"-20 screw, two side lock adapters, silicone padding, and a front lip to prevent the camera from twisting. In addition to multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads, the cage features ARRI-style locating holes to prevent accessories, such as an optional top handle or HDMI cable clamp, from twisting when mounted on the cage.
The cage features an integrated Arca-type mount on the base, so you can mount it onto standard Arca-type heads and bases. There is a shoe mount on top for an accessory, and integrated strap slots and a QD mount allow you to add a separately available wrist or neck strap. A magnetic screwdriver for securing the camera screws is included and stores in the base.
