The SmallRig Sun Hood for Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K & 4K serves as a protection from the effects of sunlight and glare on your Black magic Design Pocket 6K or 4K Cinema Camera. The company's SmallRig Sun Hood for Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K & 4K is a camera protection case that improves outdoor recording conditions. It comes with an aluminum frame; two connectors and a leather hood. The frame can be mounted onto a camera in one of two different positions: either with or without an existing cage. In each instance, users will secure their camera with the included screws and connectors.
If you are using SmallRig's Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K/4K cage, a longer connector is included and attaches to the cage using the included screws. The hood snaps into the frame to prevent glare and sunlight from getting in the way of a clear image, and it can fold down for storage. There are 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the top of the frame and connectors to add additional accessories such as a light, microphone, or mounting arm.
