Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 4 Magenta Soft-Edge Graduated Filter (Vertical Orientation)

The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 4 Magenta Soft-Edge Graduated Filter (Vertical Orientation) gives a particular part of an image a pinkish, magenta hue and helps it add a specific pink coloration to skies and other bright regions of the photo while keeping some of the rest of the image uncolored. The color of the filter is thickest at the margin and lightest at the center with a soft border between the thick and clear parts. The 4 color density gives less magenta color than the 5 density but more than the 3 density filter with the Tiffen 4 x 5.65" 4 Magenta Soft-Edge Graduated Filter (Vertical Orientation).

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5mm.

Note: A vertical orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the short side of the filter.
