The 1 density produces less contrast and highlight removal than the 2, but still has a warm and natural look with the Tiffen 72mm Black Satin 1 Filter.

This filter is constructed from Water White glass and is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and mounting to precision metal rings.
