Zacuto Cine Mini EVF Recoil Kit

The Zacuto Cine Mini EVF Recoil Kit is a kit that is compatible with the Panasonic DVX200, the URSA Mini, the AJA CION, and other cameras that include a top handle with 1/4"-20 threaded holes. With the Zacuto Cine Mini EVF Recoil Kit, place your camera comfortably up on your shoulder, and use the included 15mm rod lock to attach the top handle. The Zacuto Cine Mini EVF Recoil Kit is designed to offer optimal balance and comfort whenever it is shoulder-mounted or on a tripod. The balance point on this recoil kit is placed where the lens meets the camera body because lenses and cameras are generally of similar weights. When purchasing this kit, you will receive a VCT Pro Baseplate, a Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel Handgrip, a 3" Z-Rail, and a Z-Rail Rod Lock 90°.

The VCT Pro Baseplate has a sliding top plate for quickly removing the camera from the rig, or for fast length adjustments. It also has a built-in curved shoulder pad, a V-wedge tripod connector, removable and extendable 6.5” iris rods, and rows of ¼”-20 threaded holes for accessories along the sides. With quick release 15mm rod parts in the rear and a recessed rod mount, this rig offers maximum accessory-capable space under your camera lens.

The Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel is a fully articulating handgrip with rod cap. It attaches to a single 15mm rod with a Zwivel mount that can be set at multiple angles, for comfort and ease of use. The 3” Z-Rail screws to the top handle of your camera, allowing you to attach a 15mm rod lock and other Z-Rail accessories. The Z-Rail Rod Lock 90° gives you a side-facing 15mm rod port onto which you can mount accessories via two ¼”-20 screws.

VCT Pro Baseplate

The Zacuto VCT Pro Baseplate features a built-in curved shoulder pad, an Arri M6 rosette, quick-release 6.5" rods and lightweight rod ports. The v-wedge tripod connector is compatibe with the VCT14 tripod adapter plates or can be connected to your tripod quick release plate via the 1/4-20" and 3/8-16" screw holes. The Pro baseplate is compatible with al lcameras including Canon EOS C-series, Sony FS4 and FS7, AJA CION, BlackMagic, RED cameras, ARri Alexa and Amira, DSLRs, Mirrorless and more.

The red sliding top plate offers easy adjust-ability for lens changes, removing your camera, and balancing your rig correctly on your shoulder. This sliding plate combined with a double screw track offers 10” of camera balance sliding range. You can quickly release your camera from the rig by sliding the red plate completely off and using our VCT Pro Dock to quickly transition it to a tripod, slider, etc.

The lightweight, adjustable rod mount is set far back in the plate, offering plenty of accessory-capable area under the camera lens. This allows you to position your camera further back on the plate, keeping the balance point of your rig directly over your shoulder. Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel Handgrip

The Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel is an articulating handgrip that comes with a black 4.5 inch rod and a Z-Mount Zwivel. It easily mounts to any 15mm rod with the quick-release handgrip. The Zwivel allows you to change the angle between the two 15mm rods. The Zwivel has one lever which controls the both 15mm holes. In order to change the angle of the rods, just loosen the single lever and the internal spring separates the parts for you to adjust to the desired angle.

90° Z-Rail Rod Lock

Use the Zacuto 90° Z-Rail Rod Lock to secure the Axis Mini EVF mount on a Half Cage or a Z-Rail placed at the front of the camera perpendicular to the sensor plane. Alternatively, you can conveniently mount a 15mm rod, articulating arm, or Zacuto ZUD in perpendicular orientation to the Z-Rail. Two 90° Rod Locks placed on the same rail can be spaced for properly mounting 15mm LWS accessories without the need for a baseplate. Z-Rail accessories are also compatible with NATO, SWAT, RED, Picatinny, and Wooden Camera rails.
