Joe's Clear Sticky Stuff 1/2" x 65' (Butyl Replacement)

In Hollywood if you need to hang a sign on a wall, you put it there. The only problem is that you may not own that wall, and when you leave, the wall must look like it did when you arrived.

In the past people have used foam tape, blue tack and an automotive window ribbon called butyl. Butyl is a tar-based adhesive that is incredibly sticky but leaves horrible black stains on the walls, windows, floors and worst of all, your hands and fingers.

Joe’s Sticky Stuff™ started in the Film Industry as a replacement for all of these and more! It leaves no residue, won’t mar or damage surfaces and best of all won’t come off on your hands. It comes in a plentiful roll of 65 Feet/19.8 Meters.

You can use Joe’s Sticky Stuff™ for any of the uses below. I have personally used Joe’s Sticky Stuff ™ for all of these situations on camera, and lots of others!

At the Office:
• Hang items for presentations in any room, including hotel conference rooms or clients offices without fear of damage to the walls or windows
• Get that poster to finally stay up on your cubical wall
• Facilities will enjoy the ability to change nameplates and signage without damaging wall coverings


At Home:
• Hang children’s artwork without thumbtack holes
• Use as earthquake hold for artwork and shelf items
• Keep picture frames hanging straight and true without marring walls
• Decorate kids’ rooms and remove decorations without having to repaint walls.
• Keep rugs and carpets from slipping.
• Hang holiday artwork or decorations anywhere in the house including windows


On the Job Site:
• Use Joe’s Sticky Stuff™ to preset trim and molding while grabbing tools (Third Hand fix)
• Mount items (such as drapery or mini-blinds) temporarily at job sites for visual approval
• Protect floors with cardboard or sheet paper and not have it shift and slide under your feet
• Apply plastic sheeting to job sites to contain dust and debris and remove cleanly when project is completed
• Place small screws or parts into Joe’s Sticky Stuff ™ and not lose them until you are ready to use them.


To apply Joe’s Sticky Stuff™ simply tear off desired length, firmly place exposed tape onto surface of project and peel off backing paper.


Joe’s Sticky Stuff™ adheres very aggressively to some materials such as, but not limited to: paper, laminated plastics, plastic sheeting and certain wallpapers. Care should be used in all sensitive areas where damage may occur.


SECRET TIP!! Leave a little of the tape showing off the edge of your project. This will give you a "handle" to pull on for removal!


To remove Joe’s Sticky Stuff™, simply pull the tape slowly in the direction it was applied. It will shrink right off of the surface leaving no residue or stains!!.


DO NOT PULL ITEM OFF SURFACE OR DAMAGE MAY OCCUR. TWISTING WILL HELP TO LOOSEN THE ITEM.


DO NOT APPLY CITRIS CLEANERS AS IT WILL MELT AND SMEAR TAPE.


Note the photo with the small Joe's Can. All of the rolls we sell are 65 feet long. Some stores sell only the small roll in the can...but it's less than 22 feet long and is usually priced for about the same price we sell ours for. Our bare bones packaging is much more economical.
