Steadicam Senior Cart

The foundation of Filmtools Steadicam Cart is our heavy duty Senior Frame, with FIVE double riveted cross bars. We use 4-Ply tube-type 10" tires (not 2-ply like our competitors do). The 7.5" x 18" nose is solid 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and the 30" nose extension (which the upper shelf attaches to) has three double-riveted square tube cross bars (not "U" bars like the others).

We use Backstage accessories to finish the best made cart in the business. We start with the standard 8" wheel kit that replaces the stock 5" hard casters. The top and bottom aluminum shelves measure 48" x 24" X 1.5". Next we add swing-away handles for easy Steadicam docking, the new and improved Steadicam "Bazooka" docking mast, and a newly designed bumper to protect the Steadicam sled. The unit is topped of with the new vest holder (which mounts on the 30" nose extension)

The answer is quite simple. We build a stronger, long lasting cart made of better materials and back it up with a Ten Year Warranty*. Magliner warrants their products for a year. We also offer a value added warranty to the Backstage Products used with our converted carts...another nine years*

*Filmtools guarantees the components from B&P Manufacturing and Backstage Equipment to be free of defects for ten years. All tires and inner tubes are the exception , which is thirty days. Customer's who want warranty work performed shall be responsible for any and all shipping costs after 30 days of original receipt of the equipment. (In other words, please inspect your product upon receipt and report any defects immediately.)
