THE BLACK pod is a beanbag-style tripod alternative designed for use with serious, pro-grade camera equipment and is capable of supporting an enormous amount of weight while still remaining compact enough to take anywhere with you. THE BLACK pod is a Pro Series pod which is the largest sized pod manufactured. THE BLACK pod features a built-in universal 1/4" mounting screw located at the center point of the pod. Also included are 4 Velcro position pads for use with THE cube battery grip adaptor (sold separately) and two straps to hold the camera or lens in position. The straps could also be used to strap down the pod to a suitable surface or rig. Set up easily on any handy surface like benches, cars, rocks, the ground, etc.
