Filmtools 494 Lightweight Headrest Camera Car Mount

The Filmtools Lightweight Headrest 494 - In-Car Camera Car Mount is designed to hold cameras weighing 8 pounds or less. The camera should have a standard 1/4-20 threaded mounting hole, located at the center of gravity on the bottom of the camera. We utilize two SmallRig clamps which attach to the headrest rods and 5/8" rigging grip gear. A Manfrotto 494 ball mount with quick-release is attached with standard hardware as well.

For light weight cameras, this little unit will work quite well under normal road  conditions. The components of this kit can also serve their various purposes individually, assembly is simple as is monting the kit. Cross rigging and triangulation can further reduce harmonic and resonate vibration.
