K-Tek KlassicPro Graphite 6-Section Boompole (Uncabled, 6')

The K-Tek KlassicPro Graphite 6-Section Boompole (Uncabled, 6') is an uncabled version that provides enhanced flexibility and interchangeability. Unlike traditional poles that were soldered and sealed, this boompole features a removable headpiece and other accessories for easy customization. The redesigned headpiece can be effortlessly threaded on and off the tube by removing a standard set screw, allowing for convenient cable changes without the need for soldering. This design update offers greater versatility and convenience for users.

The KP6 boom pole measures 21" to 6' and can be transformed to add a coiled cable or attach a transmitter at the top or the bottom (sold separately). The KlassicPro pole is designed to be more rigid and is built with a shorter collapsed length suitable for today's production environment. The updated design is stonger, adds a sixth section, and features wider tubes that increase the stiffness and optimize handling balance. This gives you quicker cuing and better control of the microphone on set.

The KlassicPro series uses a modified collett with a thicker and smoother surface, allowing for more subtle, gradual extension of each section. Replacing the dimples with oval exterior divets and improving the finish means the pole has a better grip and smoother feel when opening and closing each collar. The boompole is hand-burnished to diffuse handling noise.
