The Rosco DMG LION LED Spot & Flood Light takes the best of classic tungsten Fresnel, cutting-edge LED technology and a dramatic reimagining to reinvent the world for professionals. Rosco DMG LION LED Spot & Flood Light offers power and beauty distilled into a 13-inch all-weather Fresnel.

 NOTE: DMG LION does not ship with an LED engine. 

TWO EASY-TO-SWAP LED ENGINES

The DMG LION features two LED engines – a MIX® LED Engine and a PUNCH™ LED engine – that are designed to swap
in and out of the fixture in less than 90 seconds without any tools.
This future-proof feature also enables the DMG LION to be easily upgraded as LED technology advances by swapping in
newly designed LED engines when they become available – without replacing the entire fixture.

MIX® LED Engine

Utilizing the same patented, six-chip, MIX® Technology found in Rosco’s DMG Lighting soft lights, this
 LED engine is designed for full spectrum output to produce bright, vibrant colors, True Rosco Color™ gel matches,
 and enhanced skin tones at any color temperature.

PUNCH™ LED Engine

This 2700K-6500K bi-color LED engine is designed to produce maximum intensity. A DMG LION outfitted
 with the PUNCH LED engine can generate the same lighting output as a 5K tungsten Fresnel. The PUNCH LED
 engine also features the unique Red and Lime LED chips found in our MIX technology to provide green and
 magenta color correction to the beam.

13" FRESNEL LENS 

The fixture’s large 13-inch (33cm) Fresnel lens creates the classic ‘soft-edged spotlight’ beam expected from a larger Fresnel light. The light output from DMG LION is soft enough to create flattering light on talent, yet hard enough that it can produce crisp and dramatic shadows. The large Fresnel lens also improves the overall efficiency of the fixture and enables DMG LION to produce an extra-wide beam spread that is useful for lighting large spaces or for creating soft light with a defined beam shape.

MOTORIZED SPOT TO FLOOD

With a range of 15°-75°, DMG LION features the widest beam angle range available from any LED Fresnel. The motorized
zoom is quiet on set, and is controllable via DMX, the myMIX® App, and the fixture’s onboard controls.

OUTDOOR-RATED

Featuring a self-contained, all-weather housing, DMG LION can be deployed anywhere it’s needed – from rainy or snowy
locations to a dusty rig hung above a stage.

DESIGNED TO LAST

Engineered using a rugged combination of aluminum and durable thermo-plastics, DMG LION is a dependable LED Fresnel that’s perfect for rental houses, broadcast studios, sound stages, performance venues, and concert tours. DMG LION features a self-contained housing (no external power supply) that is designed to be stackable and accept standard 13” accessories like scrims, gel frames, and speedring adaptors.

REPAIR – DON’T REPLACE

DMG LION has been engineered to be fully repairable. Whether it’s replacing a broken lens or an individual chip in the LED Engine – virtually every component of DMG LION can be replaced, repaired, or updated.
