The SmallRig Lightweight Fluid Video Head incorporates an indexed pan axis, advantageous for crafting panoramic shots and consistent camera pans. With Arca-Swiss QR system compatibility, the SmallRig Lightweight Fluid Video Head includes a quick release plate that facilitates direct use with optional Arca-Swiss cages and L-brackets, streamlining your workflow.
You can adjust the camera balance back and forth by sliding the quick release plate in the camera platform and by turning the side knob to adjust the camera platform, which is useful when using large lenses or mounting the camera horizontally. The SmallRig Lightweight Fluid Video Head comes with a removable telescopic handle that supports a 360° swivel, plus one 1/4"-20 threaded hole to fit a magic arm for such devices as a monitor, a microphone, an image transmitter, or a camera. A built-in Allen wrench is included for removing or installing the quick release plate.
Pan and Tilt
The pan and tilt axes have independent locks and fixed drag.
Mounting
The head features a 3/8"-16 tripod mounting hole, a 1/4"-20 accessory mounting hole, and two removable 1/4"-20 captive screws in the quick release plate.
Pan Handle
A removable telescoping pan handle mounts on the side of the head and can be positioned as needed.
Quick Release Plate
A standard Arca-type quick release plate is provided for fast mounting and unmounting.
