The Aputure STORM 1000c Cine Kit (US) is a point-source fixture kit designed for professional lighting technicians, studios, and rental houses that serves as a standard way to deploy the STORM 1000c. This kit is based on the STORM 1000c, a 1000W color-tunable point source fixture featuring our revolutionary BLAIR-CG LED chipset and ProLock mount. The Aputure STORM 1000c Cine Kit is a powerful all-in-one lighting solution designed for demanding film and broadcast production environments. At the heart of this kit is the CF12 Fresnel, a compact Bowens mount accessory featuring a large 12-inch diameter lens and an adjustable beam angle from 15º to 45º. Purpose-built for the STORM 1000c’s BLAIR-CG light engine, the CF12 boosts output by up to 9x while maintaining smooth, even falloff across the beam.

The CF12 Fresnel leverages a dual-expanding focusing system, enabling compact size without sacrificing focusing range. Unlike traditional Fresnels that extend only from the front, the CF12 extends both its front and rear barrels, preserving optical alignment and maintaining a lightweight form factor. The result is a compact, powerful modifier that maximizes the STORM 1000c’s performance in both spot and flood configurations.

CF12 Barn Doors

Included in the Cine Kit are the CF12 Barn Doors, a professional-grade shaping tool that grants users precise control over the light’s spill and output. The 8-leaf design allows for intricate shaping directly at the source, while the integrated holder accepts 13-inch metal scrims for additional output control and diffusion options.

STORM 1000c/1200x Skid

To support on-set usability and safety, the kit also includes the STORM 1000c/1200x Skid, a custom stainless-steel attachment designed to mount securely to the bottom of the fixture. The skid ensures the light remains stable when placed on carts or flat surfaces, even when the CF12 Fresnel and Barn Doors are attached. Its rear cutout provides clearance for the head cable, allowing for full tilting range and operational flexibility without interference.
